Why First Fruits?
First Fruits are historically known as the best of the harvest. The bible talks about a Jewish feast where the first fruits offering needed to be given before any of the crop could be harvested.
In the New Testament, James 1:18 says; “Of His own will he brought us forth by the word of the truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures.”
